Upon specific request, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials products can be supplied with quality certificates in accordance with the European standard EN 10204:
• Certification 2.1 – Declaration of Compliance with the Order according to EN 10204-2.1
• Certification 2.2 – Test Report according to EN 10204-2.2 (Food Grade)
• Certification 3.1 – Inspection Certificate (available at an additional cost)
These certifications provide our customers with full traceability, including reference to the original lot production number, ensuring product authenticity, transparency, and maximum reliability. They confirm that every Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials product is fully certified and traceable back to the original manufacturer.
Today, the company is led by Christina Estel Vraka, a chemical engineer specialising in nanotechnology and an Advanced Materials Consultant, who brings contemporary knowledge and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.

45 Years of Experience
With more than 45 years of experience, ETKA VRAKAS is a trusted partner, providing reliable solutions for the evolving needs of modern industry.
ERTA
The company’s operations began in the early 1980s with the distribution of Ertalon engineering plastics in Greece, at a time when the brand was still part of the historic ERTA company. At that time, introducing semi-finished industrial plastics with high performance in Greece was extremely pioneering.
Founding of ETKA
In 1992, ETKA Plastics – P. Vrakas & Co. O.E. was established, marking the start of a strategic partnership with the Swiss company Quadrant, a leading producer of advanced polymers and industrial plastics.
Mitsubishi Chemical Group
Subsequently, Quadrant was incorporated into the global Mitsubishi Chemical Group, with which our collaboration has continued seamlessly to the present day.
ETKA ENGINEERING PLASTICS
In 2023, the company was renamed ETKA Engineering Plastics – ETKA VRAKAS PC, aligning with modern business requirements while maintaining its longstanding commitment to quality and innovation.
