Acetron™ C Sterra™ POM-C is a general purpose, copolymer acetal grade with recycled contents that is often favored for its porosity-free nature. This recycled POM-C also exhibits low moisture absorption and excellent machinability capabilities, making it a very versatile material that can excel in a multitude of environments.As part of the Sterra™ product portfolio, Acetron™ C Sterra™ POM-C contains recycled POM-C and therefore is associated with a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to similar materials derived from non-recycled feedstocks.

Ertalyte™ Sterra™ PET-P is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline PET-P that is characterized by its excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high strength and resistance to moderately acidic solutions. Ertalyte™ Sterra™ PET-P is capable of sustaining high loads and retains more of its original strength up to 85°C (180°F) than nylons or acetals. Due to these characteristics, Ertalyte™ Sterra™ PET-P components are a favored solution for bearing and structural applications throughout oil & gas industries.

Industry & Marine

TIVAR™ Sterra™ UHMW-PE shapes are produced from re-processed, industrial ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene materials. These recycled shapes are then re-purposed for use in a variety of industries such as construction and heavy equipment, agriculture and grain handling, bulk material and parcel handling and automotive and transportation.

As a premium grade UHMW-PE that is both economical and eco-friendly, TIVAR™ Sterra™ UHMW-PE components exhibit excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, outstanding impact strength, minimal moisture absorption and a low coefficient of friction. For these reasons, TIVAR™ Sterra™ UHMW-PE is often a favored solution for wear and outrigger pads, strips, rails, guides, rollers, conveyors, chutes, hoppers, impact plates and asphalt equipment components.
