Polyvinyl chloride (PVC-RIGID) is a thermoplastic with high chemical stability and excellent fire resistance due to its self-extinguishing properties. It operates between -10 °C and +60 °C and remains stable against most diluted or concentrated acids up to 60 °C. PVC is inert under normal conditions, with a high modulus of elasticity, excellent electrical properties at low voltages and frequencies, minimal moisture absorption, good electrical insulation, and easy weldability.
