Description
THICK WALLED TUBE
The thick-walled tube has a wall thickness of more than 2 mm and a fiber volume content of approximately 60%. The standard resin used in the production of thick-walled glass tubes is epoxy resin. In addition, a thick-walled tube has a multi-layered surface. This standard version is natural in colour.
TIN WALLED TUBE
The thin-walled tube is characterized by a wall thickness of up to 2 mm and a fiber volume content of up to 60% with a smooth surface. These profiles are ultra-light with optimal strength and weight ratio. Due to the internal braid of 45 degrees, these profiles have an improved torsional rigidity.
The thin-walled tubes are used in, measuring equipment in agriculture. External conditions do not affect the measuring equipment due to the insulating properties of the profiles. Thin-walled tubes are produced as standard in vinyl ester matrix and epoxy as an option. This standard version is natural in colour. Other colours are possible upon request.
GLASS FIBER SQUARE TUBE
Currently, the glass square is only produced in the size 40 x 40 x 2 mm. A tubular profile is perfect for building modular structures. The standard profiles have a natural colour.
GLASS FIBRE ROD
The solid fiberglass rod has a fiber volume content around 50%. The fibers in these profiles are completely UD. This makes the tensile load optimal and these profiles are extremely suitable for applications with high loads. These rods are often used as battens to ensure tight sails. The glass rod is produced as standard in vinyl ester and optionally in epoxy.
